What You'll Do
- →This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the Secretary of Health and Human Services, Immediate Office of the Secretary, headquartered in Washington, District of Columbia.
- →Serving as senior advisors to HHS leadership on product delivery, technology modernization, service improvement, organizational transformation, and strategic execution, including representing HHS in interagency and external engagements.
- →Fellow assignments may include responsibilities in the following areas: Enterprise Product, Portfolio, and Delivery Leadership Leading product operating models, portfolio governance, enterprise roadmaps, prioritization, delivery planning, product lifecycle management, agile delivery, performance measurement, and continuous improvement across major HHS initiatives.
- →Customer, Patient, and Public Experience Ensuring that the perspectives of customers, patients, beneficiaries, caregivers, providers, partners, and the public are reflected in HHS decision-making through stakeholder engagement, user research, co-design, human-centered design, service design, accessibility, plain language, and continuous feedback.
- →Technology Modernization, Artificial Intelligence, and Innovation Overseeing digital modernization, platform improvement, technical debt reduction, emerging technology adoption, artificial intelligence implementation and governance, innovation initiatives, and processes to assess the safety, effectiveness, accessibility, usability, and trustworthiness of digital products and services.
- →Organizational Operations and Strategic Execution Managing workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, professional development, organizational effectiveness, budget execution, acquisition planning, contract oversight, vendor performance, compliance coordination, risk management, and executive decision support.
- →Senior Advisory and External Engagement Serving as senior advisors to HHS leadership on product delivery, technology modernization, service improvement, organizational transformation, and strategic execution, including representing HHS in interagency and external engagements.
