This position is part of the Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs, Department of Energy. As a Senior Advisor, you will serve as a subject matter expert, perform a wide range of complex assignments, provide authoritative advice, consultation, and recommendations on complex legislative, intergovernmental, and programmatic matters

- →Veterans shape the future of energy As a Senior Advisor, you will: Serve as an advisor and recognized subject-matter expert to senior department executives and top-level managers on complex, high-priority administrative and management issues.
- →Apply expert knowledge and analyses of new or proposed legislation, federal regulations, and intergovernmental policies to determine their short and long-term impact on agency programs and operations.
- →Direct and oversee complex, multi-dimensional special projects and initiatives that cross organizational lines to develop innovative solutions to novel and unprecedented issues and improve agency-wide effectiveness.
- →Coordinate high-level meetings, conferences, and engagement with internal and external stakeholders, including Congressional and intergovernmental staff, other federal agencies, and private industry.
- →Prepare and review highly sensitive reports, position papers, executive briefings, and official correspondence for senior leadership on complex policy and programmatic matters.
