This position is located in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of War for Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict, (OASW(SO/LIC)), Secretariat for Special Operations (SSO). The ASW(SO/LIC) serves as the principal advisor and assistant to the Secretary of War and has statutory responsibility for overseeing special operations-peculiar administrative matters pertaining to the readiness and organization of Special Operations Forces (SOF),resources and equipment, and civilian personnel.
What You'll Do
- →Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Supports SCI and collateral security programs involving classified and sensitive operations across OASW(SO/LIC).
- →Applies security policies, procedures, and compliance measures in accordance with DoW and Intelligence Community directives.
- →Conducts security reviews, assessments, and evaluations to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
- →Provides guidance to leadership and staff on classified information protection and security program requirements.
- →Coordinates with DoW Components, Intelligence Community agencies, and interagency partners on security-related initiatives and mission support activities.
