Click on "Learn more about this agency" button below for IMPORTANT additional information. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a security clerk utilized as an escort for visitors such as: contractors, host-base maintenance personnel, and/or associated repair maintenance as required.
What You'll Do
- →Responsible for facilitating entry to the building for all visitors; including (but not limited to) maintenance/services, conferences, meetings, and/or possible Distinguished Visitors (DVs). 2.
- →Instructs visitors on security requirements especially those relating to the necessity of wearing badges 3.
- →Checks the area before entering with uncleared personnel to ensure that classified material is properly protected 4.
- →Answers telephones and receives visitors, giving routine information and referring caller to appropriate staff members for specific information
