This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. At the full performance level, it is in the Technician/Administrative Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA-Global Business Operations Division (DG1).
What You'll Do
- →Provides assistance with administering traditional security programs AT/FP and performs as a member of the Emergency Management Team.
- →Assists with ensuring compliance with established DoD, DISA and USAF Security and force protection policies, practices, procedures, and techniques for the command.
- →Assists with implementation of local policies and procedures for the protection of personnel, protection of national security information (NSI), national defense and other sensitive information originated or controlled by the command.
- →Conducts random inspections of individuals and property entering or existing DISA Global.
- →To ensure personnel, material and property are protected against injury, loss, destruction, compromise, or sabotage.
- →Reviews correspondence for compliance with agency correspondence directives
Requirements
- ✓There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-06/07 grade levels.
