About the Position: The Watervliet Arsenal is an Army-owned and -operated manufacturing center located in New York. It is the oldest, continuously active arsenal in the United States having begun operations in 1813.
What You'll Do
- →Assist higher graded security specialists in carrying out well-defined, structured tasks in support of established security programs.
- →Evaluate position sensitivity to ensure justification for requests of security clearances are valid for the current duty assignment.
- →Manage and operate the Watervliet Access Background Check System, ensuring the system is maintained and operational for day-to-day operations, in accordance with applicable regulations and directives.
- →Work in the Visitor Control Center (VCC), controlling installation access, operating and performing research queries on the National Crime Information Center (NCIC/NCCIC) workstation terminal(s) in accordance with (IAW) federal and state laws.
- →Perform basic office automation tasks.
