As a Sales Execution Branch Chief, you will provide leadership, oversight, and operational management for all aspects of GSA Fleet vehicle sales. Location of position: GSA, Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), Office of Shared Services Delivery, Office of Fleet Management, Remarketing Division. We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
What You'll Do
- →You will perform the following duties: Ensures timely and accurate execution of vehicle pricing, conducting thorough inspections, and managing necessary reconditioning to prepare vehicles for sale.
- →Evaluates the effectiveness and efficiency of the sales process, including measuring the average 'days to sell' a vehicle, the 'revenue per vehicle' achieved, and overall contract efficiency and cycle time.
- →Provides essential, authoritative guidance to the team of Sales Contracting Officers, interpreting and applying complex regulations such as the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and GSA-specific regulations.
- →Analyzes vehicle sales and operational data comprehensively to identify significant trends, uncover opportunities for maximizing revenue, and pinpoint areas for substantial process improvements across the sales lifecycle.
- →Identifies staffing needs, training requirements, and succession planning strategies to sustain operational excellence.
Requirements
- ✓If selected, you must meet the following conditions: Current or Former Political Appointees: The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) must authorize employment offers made to current or former political appointees.
- ✓If you are currently, or have been within the last 5 years, a political Schedule A, Schedule C or NonCareer SES employee in the Executive Branch, you must disclose this information to the HR Office.
- ✓Failure to disclose this information could result in disciplinary action including removal from Federal Service.
- ✓Serve a one year probationary period, if required.
- ✓Undergo and pass a background investigation (Tier 2 investigation level).
