This position is located This position is with the USDA, Forest Service, Washington Office (WO). The incumbent is considered an agency expert in the field of Program Specialist work. What You'll Do
- →Assist in the preparation of safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- →Responsible for the management and administration of a comprehensive, LMR safety and occupational health program.
- →Ensure safe, healthful, and efficient operations for employees, volunteers, contractors, and the visiting public.
- →Make written recommendations to management and employees on implementation of measures that will abate and correct unsafe conditions.
- →Conduct strategic planning to develop annual action plans.
Requirements
- ✓Must be a U.S.
- ✓Citizen or National.
- ✓Males born after 12/31/1959 must be Selective Service registered or exempt.
- ✓Subject to satisfactory adjudication of background investigation and/or fingerprint check.
- ✓Per Public Law 104-134 all Federal employees are required to have federal payments made by direct deposit to their financial institution.
