Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! What You'll Do

  • This position is physically located at Camp Foster.
  • This position reports to and assists the Resources Manager by performing a wide variety of program support with administrative and clerical processes, allowing for effective program management.
  • The incumbent must possess general understanding of all MCCS programs and wide knowledge of the various programs, services, and classes provided by the FPR to include: Cultural Awareness and Adaptation, Information and Referral with Relocation Services, and PFM programs.
  • The incumbent is required to complete certification for fire warden, Supervisor Safety training, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation training within the first 6 months of hire.
  • Plans, develops, and coordinates the coupon program within the Resources Program by providing continuous liaison with volunteers and organizations in continental United States to continue receiving coupon donations.
  • Monitor all Service Members and patrons who assist with volunteer opportunities at all Resources Program locations through sign-ups, tracking hours of completion, creating and submitting letters of appreciation, and providing an itemized list of patrons and hours to the MCCS Volunteer Program Coordinator.
  • Submits media/marketing/sponsorship requests to various sources of advertising and follows up to ascertain maximum coverage of events and realization of the target population.
  • Compiles Marine and Family Programs COE inputs, creates format layouts, and verifies content for accuracy, spelling, punctuation and grammar, prior to submitting for review by the first-line editor.
  • Ensures COE publication is distributed electronically each month by established deadlines.
  • Assists with preparing finalized reports/responses regarding FPR business matters.
  • The incumbent must understand basic functions of Microsoft Office suite, to include Publisher and Excel, and Adobe computer software.
  • The incumbent may assist with preparation and submission of maintenance service requests, supply and equipment purchases.
  • Requisitions include the procurement of goods and services through the utilization of NAF purchase card and the Electronic Purchase Request system.
  • Maintains MCCS Okinawa FPR web pages by adding new events and updates for all FPR programs.
