Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! What You'll Do
- →What to Expect Assists the Manager daily by opening and closing the activity.
- →Assists and services customers by providing directions, demonstrating equipment and services, and/or assisting in purchase of merchandise.
- →Operates a cash register, receives payments, makes change, and completes related sales records.
- →Performs daily maintenance of Skeet Range facility, equipment, and weapons.
- →Strictly enforces posted safety rules and range procedures.
- →Issues weapons, targets, and applicable safety equipment.
- →Provides actual shooting demonstrations, issues weapons and ammunition, cleans and repairs archery equipment.
- →Performs a variety of administrative duties associated with the assigned operations.
- →This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance.
- →Performs other duties as assigned.
- →This is a "covered position" for the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment to the Gun Control Act for Department of the Navy civilian personnel.
- →If the incumbent comes in contact with firearms, or ammunition in this position they must complete a DD Form 2760 certifying whether, or not they have ever obtained a "qualifying conviction" for a misdemeanor, or felony crime of domestic violence.
- →All covered employees have a continuing obligation to notify their supervisors through use of the DD Form 2760 if they obtain a qualifying conviction.
- →This is a non-critical sensitive position, must be able to successfully obtain/maintain a Tier 3 background investigation.
