About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Dobbins Information, Ticket and Travel program on Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Georgia. The position is a flexible position, which means you are not guaranteed hours or benefits but could work anywhere between 0 and 40 hours per week. Position requires working irregular schedules, to include weekends, holidays, and all shifts.
What You'll Do
- →Performs and/or assists in the operation and maintenance of recreational facilities.
- →Establishes schedules of events and ensures rules and regulations are followed.
- →Tests water-skiing and boating equipment for safe operation.
- →Demonstrates safety and conservation techniques for campsites, water-sports areas, firing ranges, and hunting areas.
- →Demonstrates equipment and techniques for outdoor activities such as camping, swimming, and boating.
- →Sets up gymnasiums and playing fields for sports events, tournaments, and practice games when practical knowledge of rules and procedures is required.
- →Inspects outdoor recreation and sports facilities and equipment for security and general condition.
- →Schedules campsites, cabins, boats, and other outdoor recreation equipment and areas, ensuring they are vacated or returned in good order.
- →Performs other related duties as assigned.
