About the Role
About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the Rod and Gun Club, Kaiserslautern, Germany. This position does not offer logistical support. The primary purpose of this position is to perform and/or assists other recreation assistants or specialist in the operation and maintenance of the Rod & Gun facilities.
What You'll Do
- →Perform and/or assist in sales operations and cleaning, to include minor maintenance of Rod & Gun Club.
- →Types of duties include but are not limited to the following: Assist with monthly inventories (retail, equipment & weapon); Check in/out rental equipment, firearms and ensure proper equipment condition upon return.
- →Use Point of Sale terminals to take reservations and payments for customer rentals, weapon storage, programs/special events and retail merchandise to include firearms and ammunition.
- →Operate & visually inspect equipment for defects for all facility activities such as paintball, trap & skeet and gun/archery ranges in accordance with established range(s) safety rules and procedures.
- →Report damage or worn-out equipment to supervisor for further guidance.
- →Provide oversight of paintball fields and test markers for proper Pound per Square Inch (PSI) levels.
- →Set up targets for ranges & set up archery field, fill trap/skeet machines, properly operate air compressor and monitor PSI levels for paintball makers.
- →Maintain cleanliness of entire facility, basic clean & repair all rental equipment.
- →Assistant in setting up special events, classroom lectures and audio-visual equipment.
- →Performs other related duties as assigned.
