This position is located at Community Recreation Division, Fort Hood, Texas. This announcement is in conjunction with the Fort Hood Job Fair on Wednesday May 20, 2026. Applications will be accepted at the event to be held at the Lone Star Conference Center, Fort Hood, Texas. 9:00am to 11:00am Application Turn-In. 11:00am to 2:00pm interview with possibility of On-The-Spot hire! Please bring a government issued photo ID, social security card and a resume (max 2 pages).
What You'll Do
- →Assists the Facility Manager in the overall operation of a fitness facility.
- →Circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory: provides information and general instruction on the use of equipment, facilities, and machinery.
- →Assists in setting up for instructors, contractors, events, athletic activities, and related functions.
- →Performs facility cleanliness and/or monitors contracts.
- →Assists with publicity of programs and events and assists with the delivery and placement of posters, flyers and other promotional material.
- →Issues/receives equipment to authorized users.
- →Monitors fitness equipment condition; tracks maintenance and repair or replacement as appropriate.
- →Cleans and performs minor maintenance on facility equipment.
