This position is part of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for serving as an Agency expert for Agency-level readiness reporting including Joint Mission Essential Task List development, maintenance and mission readiness reporting-related programs.
What You'll Do
- →Provides information on DoW readiness systems, recommendations on program priorities and resource requirements, and synchronizes readiness reporting based on an in-depth knowledge of systems capabilities.
- →Ensures all Agency capabilities are adequately represented in DRRS to the combatant commands to allow full realization of agency support to the warfighter.
- →Represents the agency through direct interface and liaison with the Joint Staff, the OSW(Readiness), combatant command (CCMD) staffs, and the USG interagency community to ensure DTRA JMETL based crisis and contingency support capabilities are properly linked, catalogued and reported.
- →Serves as a technical subject matter expert for conducting agency-level comprehensive reviews of +65 CJCS joint doctrine publications in accordance the CJCS Joint Doctrine System.
- →Supports taskings for programmatic and policy reviews of DoW policy and CJCS doctrine revision programs.
- →Provides expert technical review and writing support of DTRA's mission in review of DoW and Joint Staff manuals, instructions, and directives as they related to readiness, training, and doctrine processes and procedures.
- →Serves as an agency technical subject matter expert on the development and maintenance of the DTRA JMETL.
- →Conducts monthly DRRS reviews with DTRA leadership.
- →Utilizes Joint Training Tool (JTT) and Joint Lessons Learned Information System (JLLIS) to implement best practices and correcting deficiencies revealed in lessons learned from exercises and events in which the agency participates.
- →Provides customer training and assistance to ensure on-going consultation and instruction to all individuals and offices responsible for readiness processes.
- →Interfaces across all DTRA directorates to ensure applicable development of tasks to develop the JMETL and to ensure accurate and timely reporting in DRRS.
- →Supports preparation of the formal Agency response to the Joint Forces Readiness Review, the Joint Training Plan, and informal training plans.
- →Provides personnel with formal and informal training on DRRS.
