You will serve as a RANGE SAFETY OFFICER in the RANGE MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT DIVISION of OFFICE OF THE COMMANDING GENERAL. This is a RE-ADVERTISEMENT of Announcement Number: ST-12952903-26-ARB. Applicants that have previously applied NEED to re-apply to this announcement.
What You'll Do
- →You will coordinate with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for required daily training airspace.
- →You will coordinate with training event planners when scheduling training events and provides information on the support/training and capabilities, and scheduling.
- →You will attend weekly meetings and represent the Division in support of training exercises, experiments, environmental projects, public works projects, and civilian activities.
- →You will assist with the coordination of real-time range scheduling issues with the Range Operations Officer and Range Control Officer.
- →You will be responsible to the Range Operations Officer for the collection, processing and analysis of range, training areas, training facility, and airspace usage data.
