The primary purpose of this position is: To provide a Quality Assurance Specialist for Special Operations Forces (SOF) Aircrew Training and Rehearsal Support (ATARS), JMATS, and OASIS contracts (and follow-on contracts) in order to maintain AFSOC curriculum and training systems for various SOF weapon System Training Programs.
What You'll Do
- →Involved in all aspects of Quality Assurance including pre-production, production/manufacturing, acceptance testing, verification, courseware development, academic instruction, and configuration management.
- →Performs evaluation of contractor's written quality processes and requests additional quality processes to implement site unique requirements.
- →Prepares request for proposals, statements of work, and item specification.
- →Performs acceptance test procedures (ATP), Simulator Certification (SIMCERT), software testing, verification, and configuration management for multiple commands.
- →Serves as expert analyst/advisor to the AF System Program Offices (SPO), Project Manager (PM), AFSOC and 492 SOTRG leadership on modifications and timelines for the simulators.
- →Requests and coordinates with other base agencies, such as: Civil Engineering, Safety, Security Police, Supply, Comptroller, etc., to ensure government-furnished services and material in support of the contract(s).
