About the Position: Serve as the Public Utilities Specialist responsible for performing a variety of technical and analytical work in support of the installations utilities commodity and services purchase and sales. This position is located at Fort Lee Virginia.
What You'll Do
- →Determine activities authorized to receive utilities and services, calculate government funded verses reimbursable cost, and manage billing to recover all cost.
- →Perform quality assurance surveillance and spot check inspections to verify physical assets inventories.
- →Resolve customer complaints and discrepancies found in billing computations.
- →Review customer complaints and verify that contractors have addressed and documented the resolution in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
- →Provide technical advisory and coordinate work with internal and external stakeholders and customers.
- →Serve as the primary arbitrator between third party contractors and privatized utility contractors to resolve conflicts.
- →Plan annual utility requirements and manage budget authorizations to ensure sufficient funding for installation mission.
- →Evaluate historical data to review pricing for utility contracts.
