About the Position: Serves as Chief of Protocol and special advisor to the CG USARJ, Deputy Commander USARJ, Chief of Staff, Deputy Chief of Staff, Secretary of the General Staff, USARJ Staff principals, and major field commands and subordinate units on all matters of protocol. As advisor to the Commanding General, senior officers and officials on correct protocol procedures, applies an expert knowledge of the principles, methods, practices, and techniques of the protocol program.
What You'll Do
- →Serve as Chief of Protocol to the CG USARJ, Deputy Commander USARJ, Chief of Staff, Deputy Chief of Staff, Secretary of the General Staff, USARJ staff principals, and major field commands and subordinate units on all matters of protocol.
- →Serve as advisor and consultant for briefings, conferences, meetings, ceremonies and social functions involving General Officers of the U.S and Foreign Nations' Military and other high-ranking officials.
- →Advise on correct protocol procedures, applies an expert knowledge of the principles, methods, practices, and techniques of the protocol program.
- →Organize social and protocol arrangements for official presentations and events including honors, awards, promotions, retirements and assumption-of-command ceremonies.
- →Develop Comprehensive command-wide guidance, direction, policies, and regulations governing the protocol program.
