The Smithsonian Institution (SI) is the world's largest museum, education, and research complex, with 21 museums and the National Zoo. This position is in the National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC), Office of External Affairs. The National Museum of African American History and Culture is a national museum for the study and exhibition of African American history and culture.
What You'll Do
- →The Program Specialist fulfills the role of confidential assistant/liaison for the Associate Director, supporting the operational functions of the office through oral and written reports and proposals.
- →Arrange a variety of conferences and meetings. keep the calendar for the Associate Director and establish priorities with minimal direction.
- →Maintain regular interaction with direct reports and key leaders.
