The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a Resource Specialist/Contracting Officer/Equipment Control Officer for 690 ISS, applying cross-discipline knowledge and experience in programming planning, science and technology, intelligence, acquisition, resources management and operations.
What You'll Do
- →DUTY 1: Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the squadron procurement function, ensuring that the Squadron complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets the group, wing, and NAF needs.
- →DUTY 2: Serves as the organization's Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for program functional areas within the unit.
- →DUTY 3: Performs as equipment control officer (ECO) to functional users, studies and establishes plans of action for improving the efficiency of information technology applications.
- →DUTY 4: Establishes, collects, and implements requirements for procurement of equipment in-line with organizational goals and mission requirements.
- →DUTY 5: Functions as a senior technical advisor on contract and ITAM consultant plans and coordinates all phases of the acquisition, implementation, and integration of IT assets.
