This position is part of the Chief of Staff, Government Publishing Office in Washington, District of Columbia.
What You'll Do
- →Plans, directs, and coordinates the full range of work performed within Congressional Customer Services, ensuring activities and critical functions are carried out effectively through subordinate supervisors.
- →Manages the scheduling, tracking, and coordination of diverse products and services required by Congress, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality delivery.
- →Evaluates distribution requirements for Congressional publications and identifies opportunities to improve processes, recommending updated methods, formats, and technologies to increase productivity, enhance quality, and reduce costs.
- →Serves as the primary point of contact for Congressional staff by providing guidance on special projects, clarifying requirements, and assigning work to CCS staff to meet organizational and stakeholder needs.
- →Identifies and resolves production issues, taking actions to expedite work and meet urgent or overnight delivery requirements while maintaining service standards.

- ✓If you cannot obtain your graduate school's definition of one year of graduate study, 18 semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) should be considered as satisfying the requirement for one year of full-time graduate study.
