The VA Health System, has 2 vacancies for a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse. The LPN will be fully qualified and certified to function in a clinical role and in accordance with the guidelines and policies of the Veterans Affairs Health Care System. The (LPN/LVN) also performs assigned duties in a manner that promotes quality health care, outstanding customer service, and the maintenance of an environment committed to serving the veteran.
What You'll Do
- →The LPN/LVN in the Medical Specialty Clinic is responsible for providing competent, evidence-based care under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) or other healthcare providers.
- →The duties include, but are not limited to: Patient Care, Care Coordination and Consultation Engage in Health Promotion and Education by educating patients and their families about managing conditions and promoting healthy lifestyles.
- →Clinical Support by assisting in performing specialized procedures and treatments as directed by the RN or provider Assist in the orientation and competency assessment of new LPNs, LVNs, and nursing assistants in the clinical setting Utilize critical thinking skills and deliberate planning in providing specialty care.

Requirements
