About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency, Defense Health Network East at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital within the Directorate of Medicine; Department of Family Medicine at Fort Campbell, KY. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Provide practical nursing care to patients in the outpatient clinic with a variety of medical conditions.
- →Perform tasks such as recording vital signs, ordering labs, tracking patient’s laboratory, radiology orders and referral results to completion.
- →Administer prescribed medications with increased independence, ensuring proper patient dosages, routes, and times are followed.
- →Educate patients and families about prescribed treatments, reinforcing adherence to the medical plan.
- →Document accurate administered medications and patient responses promptly in compliance with facility policies.
- →Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective management of patient medications.
