About the Role
About the Position: Position is located within the Dept. of Family Medicine at Madigan Army Medical Center and McChord AFB Clinic in Tacoma, WA. This includes outside Satellite Clinic in Olympia. Typical duty hours are Monday through Friday from 0730-1600. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Provide individualized nursing care to patients based upon the physician’s medical care plan, the nursing assessment, and the physical, mental, and emotional needs of the patient.
- →Assist the physician with various examinations and diagnostic procedures.
- →Prepare medications and immunizations for administration.
- →Perform routine procedures, such as EKGs, eye, throat, nasal and/or wound cultures, dressing changes, ear irrigation, and application of bandages.
- →Perform specialized procedures such as cardiac stress testing on treadmills or bicycles.
- →Administers necessary medications for echocardiogram bubble studies and stress testing echocardiograms.
