About the Role
About the Position: The incumbent provide routine and specialized care to patients with increased independence and responsibility, supporting the ambulatory healthcare team in delivering safe, efficient, and effective care for a diverse patient population. Position is located within the Department of Medicine, Internal Medicine Service at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Provide practical nursing care to patients in the outpatient clinic with a variety of medical conditions, performing tasks such as recording vital signs, ordering labs, radiology orders and referral results to completion, making future appointments Assist in performing and managing medical procedures, physical examinations, and treatments.
- →Provide nursing care to patients in the inpatient setting with a variety of medical conditions, performing tasks such as recording vital signs, monitoring patient conditions, and reporting significant findings to the supervising nurse or physician.
- →Administer prescribed medications with increased independence, ensuring proper patient dosages, routes, and times are followed.
- →Provide patient and family education tailored to specific medical conditions, treatment plans, and recovery goals.
