About the Position: This position is located at the 72nd Medical Group, Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.
What You'll Do
- →Conduct perioperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care to assist with minor surgical procedures.
- →Utilize systems to maintain patient medical records.
- →Collect vital signs and specimen samples, documenting them in the patient’s chart.
- →Administer medications to patients via oral, topical, intramuscular, intradermal, intravenous, and/or subcutaneous routes, monitoring for potential reactions.
- →Instruct patient and family members on home care and medications.
- →Provide first aid or resuscitation procedures during emergency situations.
- →Complete administrative duties such as training staff, scheduling patient appointments, and/or faxing information to off-base providers.
- →Monitor active-duty military members' deployment restricting medical conditions to ensure medical needs are met and addressed.
