About the Position: Serves as Team Leader for the Operational Planning Team (OPT) and is responsible for developing, recommending and updating USFK strategic Operational planning documents. Responsibility involves analyzing concepts and missions during development of criteria, plans and independent objective recommendations for establishing priorities or other decisions relative to long-, mid-, and short-range strategic plans.
What You'll Do
- →Coordinates distribution of workload within the team to promote maximum effectiveness of operations.
- →Recommends, coordinates, documents and updates USFK strategic and operational initiatives/plans to maintain an USFK capability to meet future needs.
- →Represents USFK on Combatant Command and Service Component-level Business Planning teams.
- →Synthesizes input gained through interfaces with Higher Headquarters, Joint, DOD, other federal agency and private sector sources to develop the USFK Strategic and Operational Plans from conception through execution.
- →Conducts studies and analyses of emerging strategic /organizational concepts to ensure that such concepts are considered in USFK's strategies, goals and objectives.
