About the Role
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount up to $200,000 & eligibility period one to five years are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply.
What You'll Do

- →Performs medical record reviews and clinical interviews, performs medical assessments & evaluations, makes diagnoses/ renders medical opinions, and develops a comprehensive treatment plan to include appropriate diagnostic testing, medication management/therapy, and specialty/subspecialty care referral where appropriate.
- →Other specialized practices and procedures may be included when the PA and collaborating supervisory physician deem appropriate by completing the applicable documentation for approval.
- →The PA will be assigned to a Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) in an Outpatient Clinic.
- →The PA will communicate with end users at other NCHCS sites to improve clinical advice and integration into the Patient Aligned Care Team processes.
- →The PACT PA must meet a11 mandatory education requirements.
- →The PACT PA will have demonstrated the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with individuals.
- →The incumbent must have the ability to navigate between various software and mainframe systems on a personal computer with an established operating system.
- →The incumbent must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and possess effective interpersonal communication skills and telephone skills.
- →The incumbent must have the ability to perform multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- →The incumbent must possess customer service and problem-solving skills.

- ✓Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program is a requirement for all Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care Personnel (HCP).
