About the Position: Serve as a Physician Assistant for the United States Army Medical Department Activities, Directorate of Surgery, Orthopedic Service, Brian D. Allgood Army Community Hospital (BDAACH), at Camp Humphreys, Pyeongtaek, Republic of Korea. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Serve as the primary Orthopedic care provider in the capacity of a credentialed physician's assistant to provide orthopedic services to patients within the community.
- →Evaluate/treat patients in the Emergency Department.
- →Perform comprehensive and problem focused histories and physical examinations.
- →Interpret/correlate laboratory and diagnostic procedures.
- →Implement therapeutic interventions for specific conditions when appropriate.
- →Formulate treatment plans for Orthopedic problems within the scope of practice.
- →Perform diagnostic/therapeutic procedures including, but not limited to, joint/bursa aspirations, closed reduction of fractures/dislocations.
