About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center with the Director for Surgery Department of Orthopedics. Hours of operation: Monday- Friday 0730 - 1600 This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Perform initial patient work-up and assessment of patient’s care and treatment.
- →Interpret and correlate subjective and objective data to formulate a differential diagnosis and to establish a working diagnosis.
- →Determine the need for and order routine laboratory tests, imaging studies (to include x-rays, MRIs, bone scans, CT scans and/or other diagnostic imaging technology) and is able to interpret the results.
- →Work collaboratively with the physician in patient management evaluation and revision of therapeutic plans.
- →Participate with the attending physician and other medical staff in interpreting and evaluating continuing changes in direct patient care.
