Physician Assistant will be a Mid-Level provider for the Community Living Centers (CLC) under the Geriatrics/Long-Term Care (G/LTC) Service Line. The incumbent will provide clinical support to the supervisory physicians of the CLC, duties and responsibilities will be at the direction of the physician Lead. Physician Assistant will function in both a clinical and administrative role, and in accordance with the guidelines and policies of the Martinsburg Veteran Affairs Medical Center.

- →Work Schedule: Day Shift with flexibility as 24/7 coverage is needed
Requirements
- ✓Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
- ✓All applicants tentatively selected for VA employment in a testing designated position are subject to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment.
- ✓Applicants who refuse to be tested will be denied employment with VA.
- ✓Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- ✓Must be proficient in written and spoken English.
- ✓Subject to background/security investigation.

- ✓Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program is a requirement for all Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care Personnel (HCP).

- ✓Graduate of a training program which is accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education of PA (ARC-PA) or one of its predecessor organizations.
