About the Position: Incumbent will serve as a Physician Assistant (ER), located at the A.T. Augusta Military Medical Center, Fort Belvoir, VA. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Medical Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Provides management of drug overdoses, clinical assessment and understanding of forensic implications of physical assault, rape, suicide, abuse, and neglect.
- →Provides action and treatment that directly affects the course of subsequent health care provisions for both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- →Orders laboratory tests, radiology/imaging tests and other procedures necessary to complete assessment of the patient.
- →Provides comprehensive medical care to patients, presenting with full range of (acute, complex, complicated, difficult, rare, and/or combination) medical, surgical and psychiatric illnesses Provides action and treatment that directly affects the course of subsequent health care provisions for both inpatient and outpatient settings.
