About the Position: This position is located at Madigan Army Medical Center, Department of Surgery - Physical Medicine and Rehab in Tacoma, Washington. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Advance in Hire may be authorized. This is available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
What You'll Do
- →Provide interpretation of Physical Therapist’s findings to initiate care.
- →Design a patient progressive treatment plan to improve functional independence.
- →Make recommendations and utilizes the various modalities of physical therapy, as prescribed, to include diathermy, hydrotherapy, massage, electrotherapy, ultrasound and therapeutic exercise.
- →Track procedure’s effects on patients, long-and short-term effects of different types of therapy, and appropriateness of a specific therapy.
- →Provide instruction to patients, family members and/or other health workers to perform selected treatment procedures and functional training activities.
