This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This is a permanent Physical Therapist (Holistic Health and Fitness) position located at Fort Richardson, Alaska. Duty location is in an arctic environment.
What You'll Do
- →Provide full range of professional injury screening and prevention, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment to maximize Soldier performance and improve unit readiness.
- →Perform physical therapy professional duties requiring an advanced practical knowledge of physical therapy skills, evidence-based practice, data collection and reporting as part of the H2F team.
- →Plan and organize professional injury screening and prevention.
- →Research, analyze, and report on injury control and program effectiveness.
- →Advise Commanders and Directors on the development and implementation of strength and endurance programming and execution.
- →Participate on the Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) team to coordinate the rehabilitation or wellness activities of individual or groups of Solders.
