About the Role

This position is located at Parent & Outreach Services West Point, NY. Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Child and Youth Services (CYS) Employee Childcare Fee: First Child: 100% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Second and Subsequent Child: 25% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Available to MWR CYS Regular and FLEX (working a minimum of 15 hours). Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

What You'll Do

  • Serves as the Assistant Director for the Child and Youth Services (CYS) Parent and Outreach Services program by assisting in the planning, oversight and implementation of Parent Central Services.
  • Assists with the recruitment and hiring of qualified personnel utilizing Army Standard Position Descriptions.
  • Utilizes and monitors the Child and Youth Management System (CYMS) database to collect and ensures CYS Services information on patron, patron fees, enrollment, waiting list, funding requirements and program activities are current and accurate.
  • Implements an active program encouraging parent involvement, and providing parent education opportunities.
  • As a team member, helps implement procedures in assigned areas including fee policies, waiting list and child placement procedures, and registration/enrollment.
