This position is with Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Parent & Outreach Services at Fort Polk, Louisiana. Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Child and Youth Services (CYS) Employee Childcare Fee applicable to employees working at least 15 hours per week: First Child: 100% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Second and Subsequent Child: At least 25% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Please provide relevant transcripts to support your eligibility.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as the Assistant Director for the Child and Youth Services (CYS) Parent and Outreach Services program by assisting in the planning, oversight and implementation of Parent Central Services.
- →Assists with the recruitment and hiring of qualified personnel utilizing Army Standard Position Descriptions.
- →Utilizes and monitors the Child and Youth Management System (CYMS) database to collect and ensures CYS Services information on patron, patron fees, enrollment, waiting list, funding requirements and program activities are current and accurate.
- →Implements an active program encouraging parent involvement, and providing parent education opportunities.
- →As a team member, helps implement procedures in assigned areas including fee policies, waiting list and child placement procedures, and registration/enrollment.
