About the Position: This position is located in the Naval Hospital in Bremerton, WA. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to federal service. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Set up and operate diagnostic equipment and instruments to conduct diagnostic tests.
- →Train patients on insertion, removal, and care of hard and soft contact lenses.
- →Adjust and repair military eyewear using optical tools and heating units.
- →Assist medical clerk with the patient check-in and appointments as needed.
- →Assist with ordering and stocking of supplies for the clinic and exam rooms.
- →Prepare spectacle orders to include transposing prescriptions, selecting proper frame size and style, proper bifocal height and decentration and proper temple size.
- →Responsible for all administrative functions associated with Warfighter Refractive Surgery.
