You will serve as an Operations Specialist in the Operations Department of MSCEUR.
What You'll Do
- →You will provide support on operational, information management, and other technical issues associated with the analysis, development, and use of command and control systems.
- →You will manage and utilize the office data environment, primarily using Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Access and PowerPoint, ensuring that the Common Operational Picture is maintained, updated, and accurate.
- →You will monitor system operation and status, assuring performance and correct operation.
- →You will independently provide all materials for staff meetings, including those derived from internal and external computer and network sources.
- →You will manage operational schedules for staff and in-theater ships.
- →You will participate with staff members representing the command at planning conferences hosted by the joint community.
- →You will exercise program responsibility for the administration of database management, management of information systems requirements and provide support on operational and technical issues.
- →You will serve as the point of contact for systems account access.
- →You will develop database management solutions independently to adapt to user's mission accomplishment.
- →You will maintain complex database dictionaries and perform overall monitoring of standards andprocedures, as well as integration of systems through data products design.
- →You will provide physical security education, briefs, and awareness training to various personnel as needed; as well as, monitor routine activities for personnel security.
- →You will manages staff meetings where database products are used to track ship operations.
- →You will serve as the Subject Matter Expert in Scheduling, Marine Transportation, and Force Protection Operations.
Requirements
- ✓In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
