This position is located in the Front Office, Bureau of Global Public Affairs (GPA), Department of State (DOS). GPA serves the American people by effectively communicating United States (U.S.) foreign policy priorities and the importance of diplomary to America audiences and engaging foreigh publics to enhance their understanding of and support for the values and policies of the United States.
What You'll Do
- →Tracks taskings originating from Department leadership offices including the Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and Under Secretary for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs.
- →Monitors the status of assignments across GPA offices and collaborates with Office leadership to ensure timely completions of work products.
- →Coordinates the preparation and routing of briefing materials, memoranda, reports, and other internal products requiring Front Office awareness or action.
- →Provides authoritative operational advice and support to GPA senior leadership on improving Bureau management processes, operational effectiveness.
- →Applies user and applied research projects to identify findings and recommendations to strengthen and improve approached on a variety of high-level issues of critical importance.
