About the Role
Join the Indian Health Service at the New Sunrise Regional Treatment Center in Acoma, NM. This position serves as an Office Support Assistant and the purpose of this position is to provide a broad range of administrative, clerical, and program support services. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
What You'll Do
- →Provides administrative and office support by ensuring efficient workflow and support for management and staff.
- →Coordinates communications and records management by handling correspondence, preparing documents, and maintaining filing systems in compliance with federal requirements.
- →Manages calendars, meetings, and travel coordination for supervisors and staff, including scheduling, agendas, meeting materials, and travel documentation.
- →Performs financial, procurement, and timekeeping duties by monitoring expenditures, verifying payroll and attendance information, and maintaining inventory and control records.
- →Supports program operations and process improvement efforts by maintaining data systems, preparing reports, coordinating training activities, and recommending efficiency improvements.
Requirements
