The VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics (VA SORCC) in White City, Oregon is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Women Veterans Supervisory Program Manager (WVP). The RN leads the WVP at the local facility and works to ensure that timely, equitable, high-quality, comprehensive health care services, are provided in a sensitive and safe environment. The program constitutes the delivery of all services for women Veterans, including health care.

- →Located in the Rogue Valley, White City allows easy access to Metro-area of Medford while remaining engrossed with nature.
- →White City is an unincorporated community in Jackson County, Oregon, in the Rogue Valley.
- →It is about nine miles north of Medford and 34 miles north of the California border.
- →Enjoy the scenic drives to either Crater Lake, Oregon's only National Park, and to the mountain resort Lake of the Woods.
- →Take a family-friendly hike to a waterfall or ride the only section of the Pacific Crest Trail that's open to mountain bikers.
- →Duties include but not limited to: Assesses the need for services for women Veterans and implements services for eligible women Veterans as well as to provide oversight to ensure that identified needs are met.
- →Executes comprehensive planning for Women's Health (WH) issues that improves the overall quality of care provided to women Veterans and achieves program goals and outcomes.
- →Provides facility guidance regarding change implementations as directed by Veterans Affairs Central Office (VACO) while working across multiple service lines and disciplines.
- →Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates WH care based on age specific components.
- →Assumes responsibility for the coordination of care focused on patient education, self-management, and customer satisfaction throughout the continuum of care.
- →Demonstrates the complete knowledge of the Women Veterans Program and is responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing or supervising direct patient care.
- →Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates delivery of care based on age specific components.
- →Assumes responsibility of the coordination of care focused on patient education, self-management, and customer satisfaction throughout the continuum of care.
- →Influences care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team and participating in process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- ✓Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
- ✓All applicants tentatively selected for VA employment in a testing designated position are subject to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment.

- ✓Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program is a requirement for all Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care Personnel (HCP).
