What You'll Do
- →The Telemedicine Clinic Coordinator manages all aspects of a multi-disciplinary telemedicine program across multiple federal correctional facilities.
- →Telemedicine coordination is performed within the scope of practice of a Registered Nurse (RN) as defined by licensing agencies and the BOP (current licensure must be maintained).
- →Facilitates telemedicine video visits between the inmate and the clinical provider via approved video teleconference communications (VTC).
- →Establish strong relationships with outside hospitals and clinicians to transition the delivery of high-quality patient care from community-based to telemedicine-based care when appropriate.
- →Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution.
- →The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and are performed on a regular and recurring basis.
