About the Role
About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency, Naval Hospital, Directorate of Surgery, OB-GYN or the Directorate of Medicine Pediatrics, Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Obtain comprehensive patient history and perform physical examinations.
- →Document care and keeping medical records in compliance with federal regulations and facility requirement.
- →Develop tailored educational programs that address the specific needs of each patient.
- →Provide screening, counseling and referrals to patients experiencing complex health issues, such as infertility abnormal testing, and acute/chronic gynecological conditions.
- →Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, mentors and trains other healthcare professionals, vital to the success of the OB\GYN Outpatient Clinic.
- →Work closely with providers, nurses, medical assistants, social workers, and other health care staff clinicians to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
- →Provide timely follow-up on screening, procedures, test results and treatment plans.
