About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the Department of Defense (DoD) Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is located in the Directorate of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as a registered nurse performing basic, specialized and/or advanced nursing procedures for patients within a Medical Treatment facility.
- →Developing and implementing individualized patient care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team along with patients and their families.
- →Coordinate services and resources across the continuum of care, including referrals, follow-up appointments, and transitions between care settings.
- →Participate in process improvement initiatives, audits, and evidence-based practice activities to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- →Evaluate patients’ medical, psychosocial, and functional needs through comprehensive assessments.
- →Prepare patients for various procedures and operating medical and surgical and administrative equipment.
- →Work closely with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
