This position is assigned to the Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) Fitness, Sports, and Deployed Forces Support Branch; Fleet Readiness; Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC); Naval Air Facility El Centro. Incumbent serves as a Program Manager in the Branch and assists with the oversight of Sports Programs.
What You'll Do
- →- Assists in planning and implementing a comprehensive, sports program, for active and retired military, authorized civilians, contractors, and dependents.
Requirements
- ✓The Sports Program Manager is a supervisory position responsible for development and oversight of sports programming.
- ✓While elements (a) through (c) are preferred, a combination of two of these elements may sufficiently qualify an individual to perform their duties as program director: a) a four-year degree in sports administration or a related field; b) professional certification from a sport's governing body; and c) at least three years of experience in the industry.
- ✓Incumbent must possess or be able to obtain the following within 90 days of hire: .
- ✓CPR, First Aid, and AED certification
