Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations, Boston Field Office, Area Port of Boston located in Boston, MA. Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.
What You'll Do
- →This position will allow you to use your expertise in administration overseeing the implementation of programs and policies related to a variety of administrative processes.
- →This position starts at a salary of $69,905.00 (GS-9, Step 1) to $109,959.00 (GS-11, Step 10).
- →In this Mission Support Specialist position, you will strengthen the Department's ability to protect the homeland by becoming a valuable member of a team of administrative professionals.
- →Typical work assignments includes but is not limited to: Performing assignments requiring the application of fundamental principles, concepts, techniques, and guidelines in an administrate specialty aera(s) Conducting detailed planning to gather and interpret information and data for complex problems, issues, and unusual circumstances.
- →Identifying ways to improve or enhance current services and to ensure that such services meet management's business objectives.
- →Assessing situations that are complicated by conflicting and/or incomplete data, requiring general problem solving to isolate issues.

Requirements
