This position is located in the Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Service at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System- Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center in Aurora, Co. The Medical Technician performs a wide range of functions which includes compliance with CLIA regulations for laboratory testing, clerical and health tech functions under the direction of the Accessions/Phlebotomy Supervisor.

- →The major duties listed below represent the full performance level of GS-06.
- →At the GS-05 grade level, you will perform assignments of a more limited scope and with less independence.
- →You will progressively acquire the background necessary to perform at the full performance level of GS-06.
- →Promotion is at the discretion of the supervisor and is contingent upon satisfactory performance, availability of higher-level work, and availability of funds.
- →Applicants who refuse to be tested will be denied employment with VA.
- →Applicants will not be appointed to the position if a verified positive drug test result is received.
