These positions are located within the Pathology and Medical Laboratory Service at the VA Central Texas Health Care System in Temple, TX. The Medical Technician serves as a phlebotomist and specimen processing technician.
What You'll Do
- →DESIGNATED DRUG-TESTING POSITION: Applicants tentatively selected for VA employment in a testing designated position are subject to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment.
- →Applicants who refuse to be tested will be denied employment with VA.
- →Applicants will not be appointed to the position if a verified positive drug test result is received.
- →Work Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm with rotating holidays and weekends OR Monday-Friday,7:30am - 4:00pm with rotating holidays and weekends.
- →During the application process, you will have the opportunity to choose your preferred work schedule.
