About the Position: This position is located at Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma Washington. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Works under the general supervision of the Pathology Support Services Supervisor who provides initial guidance on area of responsibility and priorities.
- →Independently performs a wide variety of specimen collection, processing and shipping in accordance with the College of American Pathologists (CAP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), manufacturer's instructions and technical references.
- →Receives and processes specimens from all areas within Madigan Army Medical Center, Decentralized Labs, other DoD Laboratories and contracted civilian health care providers.
