About the Position: This position is located at WINN Army Medical Hospital, Fort Stewart, GA. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Perform a wide variety of tests in the areas of Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Diagnostic Immunology, and Phlebotomy in accordance with the regulatory guidelines.
- →Set up computerized equipment by selecting and entering the correct patient ID and programs information based on the type of analysis to be performed.
- →Prepare specimens and obtains supplies necessary for analysis.
- →Evaluate requested procedures to determine the suitability of specimen for analysis, requesting new specimen if determined to be unusable.
- →Calibrate equipment using standardized procedures and performs daily standardized quality control.
- →Input data and actions in appropriate Quality Control and Quality Assurance logs.
- →Perform preventive maintenance functions daily or as required.
